Swimming
It's fun and it can be free for kids in some areas during school holidays. Find your local pool here.

Go to the Park
Try taking some balls, hoops or a Frisbee down to your local park or beach and play a game.

Pass it on
Teach your kids some of the more traditional games you used to play when you were their age. Skipping, rounders, hopscotch - the old ones are the best.

Making more of Chores
Encourage the kids to help out round the house with chores that involve being active like washing the car, cleaning their room or sweeping up.

Cycling
Cycling is a great way to get fresh air and exercise. Find your local cycle paths here.

Get on up
Why not get active by putting on some music and getting on down to some of your favourite songs together?

Grab the Remote
Try and limit how much time your child spends watching TV or playing on the computer. Play hide and seek or head down to the park instead.

After Dinner
Make it a family tradition to go for a walk after dinner once a week.
